Who is it suitable for?
The objective of the qualification is to prepare learners for employment as an event steward providing learners with knowledge, understanding and skills in health and safety, responding to a variety of situations during events, managing the movement of spectators, managing conflict situations, responding to emergencies and providing information and advice. In addition to the mandatory content, there are several optional units that provide flexibility in meeting both learners’ and employers’ needs.
Highfield Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) New April 2022
Fully approved to deliver the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) designed by Highfield. It is aimed at those who plan to become a first aider in the workplace, regardless of their industry. If your workplace has been assessed and it has been concluded that you require a first aider, then this course will train team members to the sufficient level needed to meet assessment criteria. The content taught within this qualification also meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements.
- The roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Recognising the signs of an injury or illness
- Essential first aid skills, such as:
– Performing CPR
– Using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
– Dealing with a major injury or illness (i.e. anaphylaxis, chest injuries)
Highfield Level 2 Award for CCTV Operators (Public Space Surveillance) in the Private Security Industry
The perfect candidate for this course would be an individual who wants to further their current role by becoming qualified in the use of CCTV cameras. Following this course, individuals will be able to apply for a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence and begin working as a CCTV operator in public space surveillance. All training has been based on the specifications published by the SIA.

Highfield Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (Top Up)
Learners will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate* that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It is an SIA requirement that training centres must confirm that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid and also produce a valid ACT Awareness Certificate.
