The Focus Awards Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (RQF) offers learners the opportunity to achieve a qualification in fitness instructing Gym-based Exercise. This course enables learners to develop their knowledge and understanding required when planning and instructing clients or groups of participants in physical activity.

Qualification Overview
The Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Master in Gym Instructing and Personal Training (RQF) qualification combines the knowledge and skills required to work as a Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer. Learners will cover the basics of anatomy, planning and instructing gym-based and personal training sessions, circuit sessions, strength and conditioning, outdoor fitness, exercise referral, and life coaching. Learners can also choose to complete additional units in studio cycling or advanced stretching.
Qualification Structure
To achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Master in Gym Instructing and Personal Training (RQF) qualification, learners must complete 30 mandatory units achieving 130 credits. A further 3 – 4 credits may be obtained through completion of Optional units.

Learners will cover the basics of anatomy, planning and instructing gym and personal training sessions, circuit sessions, strength and conditioning, outdoor fitness, and exercise referral.
Qualification Structure
To achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Specialist in Gym Instructing and Personal Training (RQF) qualification, learners must complete 22 units to achieve 93 credits. A further 3 – 4 credits may be obtained through the completion of the optional units.

The purpose of the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy for Sports (RQF) is to provide learners with the knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of sports massage, provide an understanding of sports massage techniques, and demonstrate professional practice.

Learners will cover the basics of anatomy, planning personal training sessions, circuit sessions, strength and conditioning, outdoor fitness, exercise referral, and life coaching. Learners can also choose to complete additional units in studio cycling or advanced stretching.
Qualification Structure
To achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Master Personal Training (RQF) qualification, learners must complete 23 units to achieve 90 credits. A further 3 – 4 credits may be obtained through completion of either Optional Group A or Optional Group B.
Learner Entry Requirements
Learners must have the necessary underpinning knowledge at Level 2. Therefore, learners must have already achieved a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing in Gym, or equivalent.
